In the culture that we live in, it’s not always easy to find peace. More and more demands are placed on us in this fast paced society, and at some point, we all need rest. This is equally true for our spiritual lives. Our goal at Eastgate Christian Fellowship is to provide a haven of peace and rest found in Jesus Christ.  In the early Church, the people viewed each other as family. Our goal is to recapture that same sense of community by loving and caring for each other as we would for our own family.

Teaching plays an important role in our fellowship. If we know what God’s Word says about life, we will know how to make choices that are pleasing to Him, and ultimately experience a greater peace. We prioritize expository teaching from the Scriptures, so that we know the whole counsel of God, and not just topical snippets. 

Our meetings can be characterized as “informal”. We welcome people to come as they are, and experience the love of God. The environment where we meet is non-threatening and relaxed; our hope is that this will effect our approach to worship. We believe that God desires honesty from us, and that is what we promote.
